The original Michael is the presiding head of the primary Paradise Sons when they assemble for conference at the center of all things. Not long since on Uversa we recorded a universal broadcast of a conclave extraordinary on the eternal Isle of one hundred fifty thousand Creator Sons assembled in the parental presence and engaged in deliberations having to do with the progress of the unification and stabilization of the universe of universes. This was a selected group of Sovereign Michaels, sevenfold bestowal Sons.
Quote from The URANTIA Book, 0234:05
Around the eternal Isle of Paradise, “in an orderly, well-understood, and perfectly controlled processional, swinging in majestic grandeur” (0164:04), there are seven superuniverses of time and space. Uversa is the headquarters world of our superuniverse, the seventh. The seven superuniverses are projected to have 700,000 local universes. This “conclave extraordinary” on Paradise of 150,000 Sovereign Michaels is an indication of how settled we are.
To add perspective: “The grand universe number of your world, Urantia, is 5,342,482,337,666. This is the registry number on Uversa and on Paradise, your number in the catalogue of the inhabited worlds” (0182:07). The grand universe—“the now organized and inhabited creations” (0001:06-0002:00)—will have 7 trillion inhabited worlds. Since we are newly inhabited, it appears the grand universe is a little more than five-sevenths inhabited.
Our Creator Son, Michael of Nebadon, was the 611,121st of his order (0366:02), and our local universe is a new creation. Our Michael is Sovereign, a sevenfold bestowal Son, and seems to have achieved his sovereignty expeditiously—but only if we overlook that he began organizing his universe “about four hundred billion years ago” (1309:01)! The scale of time for our celestials boggles the mortal imagination.
We are not the only local universe to have experienced rebellion, but we are never told how common this is. I suspect that rebellions are not that common. We are part of the seventh superuniverse, which may be somewhat tardy of development as opposed to the others, and it is possible that rebellions have been more common in our superuniverse. We are not told. At any rate, it is hard to believe the whole topic of rebellion would not have been high on the agenda at the conclave, and in this regard the experience of Michael of Nebadon would seem of high interest.
“The extraordinary and unusually cruel experience through which Jesus of Nazareth passed has caused Urantia to become locally known as ‘the world of the cross’” (0229:05). The celestials have an expansive view of what “locally known” might mean. Superuniverses are divided into 10 major sectors, and our major sector in our superuniverse is Splandon, and will be comprised of 10,000 local universes. For the lessons to be learned here, we are told that our “Melchizedek colleges are thronged with student visitors and observers from other realms” (0388:09), and that “the order of Melchizedeks in Nebadon is renowned throughout all Splandon” (0388:09).
At this “conclave extraordinary” of Sovereign Michaels, we are led to speculate whether some restitution might be made to atone for the sorrow attending the default of our Adam and Eve (see 0581:02). More than 1,200 of their children have been held in the Heavens as wards of the Most Highs; held in a kind of suspension, we assume. We speculate whether permission has been granted for these sequestered children of our violet race to return to our world with the same biologic status they had as of departing. Most urgently, we need their help.
