These six evolutionary races are destined to be blended and exalted by amalgamation with the progeny of the Adamic uplifters. But before these peoples are blended, the inferior and unfit are largely eliminated. The Planetary Prince and the Material Son, with other suitable planetary authorities, pass upon the fitness of the reproducing strains. The difficulty of executing such a radical program on Urantia consists in the absence of competent judges to pass upon the biologic fitness or unfitness of the individuals of your world races. Notwithstanding this obstacle, it seems that you ought to be able to agree upon the biologic disfellowshiping of your more markedly unfit, defective, degenerate, and antisocial stocks.
Quote from The URANTIA Book, 0585:04
The above statement is by the same secondary Lanonandek Son whose quote introduced the previous two Parts, and was put “in the English language, by a technique authorized by our superiors, in the year 1934 of Urantia time” (0648:06).
The sentiments expressed above can strike a raw nerve. Here is some background.
You are a spirit, a perfect creation of the Universal Father in Heaven. This cannot be undone. This means, in the most fundamental sense, there is no sin. We cannot undo the Universal Father’s Will, and we are His perfect creation by His Will. Being perfect spirits, there is no death. After this mortal life we will be gifted a new body in Heaven, one capable of utilizing our new estate.
The universes of time and space are finite. We were born natives of the universe of Nebadon to have mortal experience. Unless we are translated directly to the Heavens, in a “chariot of fire” (such as Elijah, in 2 Kings 2:11), fused with the fragment of the Universal Father indwelling our minds, we will experience a mortal death. Being a perfect creation is a matter of faith because our experience is imperfect. Our body will die.
The Supreme Being—who is finite because He has a beginning—is evolving as the first experiential expression of the Universal Father, our infinite Creator. This is the age of God the Supreme. At the end of this universe age, when the universes of time and space are perfected, God the Supreme will be fully personalized and factualized. Finitude will have been brought to infinite perfection.
Each of us is a powerful personality, bestowed directly from the Universal Father, with no intermediaries. Our personality is original, unique, indivisible, exclusive, immutable. Without you as an individual, the Universal Father is incomplete. The Universal Father loves each of us, individually, equally, as infinitely as He loves Himself. Our personality has the power to actualize reality.
Here in the universes of time and space, we experience to explore the potentials of infinity. Acting with the Universal Father, we make new potentials actual. Our work expands the actualized potentials of the finite universes of our origin. As the Universal Father acts through us, the Supreme Being evolves.
Perfect spirits that we are, in this mortal life we are gifted a body to use, and if the body we are gifted is “markedly unfit, defective, degenerate, and antisocial,” this helps no one, not you, or the fellowship of mankind. Perfect spirits are deserving of good bodies. It is that simple.
