On first thought it might appear that Urantia and its associated isolated worlds are most unfortunate in being deprived of the beneficent presence and influence of such superhuman personalities as a Planetary Prince and a Material Son and Daughter. But isolation of these spheres affords their races a unique opportunity for the exercise of faith and for the development of a peculiar quality of confidence in cosmic reliability which is not dependent on sight or any other material consideration. It may turn out, eventually, that mortal creatures hailing from the worlds quarantined in consequence of rebellion are extremely fortunate. We have discovered that such ascenders are very early intrusted with numerous special assignments to cosmic undertakings where unquestioned faith and sublime confidence are essential to achievement.
Quote from The URANTIA Book, 0578:00; 0578:06
The above statement is also by a secondary Lanonandek Son of the Reserve Corps, the same, I assume, whose quote introduced the previous essay, Part 55. The title of this paper is “The Planetary Princes.” The previous quote from this Lanonandek Son was from his paper, “The Planetary Adams.”
There are “exactly twelve million Lanonandeks” (0392:03) in the universe of Nebadon. This number is stationary, no more are being created, and they do not reproduce. Of this twelve million, there are exactly 10,234,601 secondary Lanonandeks (see 0392:05). There will be 10 million inhabited worlds in this universe, and each world “inhabited by evolutionary mortal creatures” (0572:02) is due a secondary Lanonandek to serve as Planetary Prince.
If there were a secondary Lanonandek bestowed as a mortal on some needful world of our universe, for Nebadon this would be history shattering. We would then have exactly one less than twelve million Lanonandek Sons serving in our universe. And you have to wonder if this new provision might be adopted for more than just one world, because in our system there were 37 worlds ensnared in the Lucifer rebellion, not just Urantia.
Let us attempt to look on the last gasps of the rebellion as Michael of Nebadon might. Technically, the rebellion is settled. As of May 20th of 2012, the Ancients of Days were adjudicating the fate of all unrepentant rebel leaders. As of May of 2019, for all personalities under spiritual quarantine, the grace period of seven years for final choosing is ending. The choice for truth is now.
Be not alarmed for yourself—this choosing is a subtlety of spirit practically beneath your consciousness. The mercy of the Heavens is vastly greater than mortals commonly conceive.
Michael recognizes we do not have a resident Planetary Prince on Urantia, nor a spiritual capital where he would reside. Machiventa Melchizedek, recently proclaimed vicegerent Planetary Prince (see 0514:06; also 1024:00-1026:01), so far has not acted. Given the New Dispensation, what are Michael’s options? What can he do to support the valiant people of Urantia?
Michael needs a personal envoy on the ground. To prepare for the second coming of Adam and Eve’s children, could Michael do better than have a mortal bestowal of a secondary Lanonandek Son? a creation of his own universe, someone fully trained in the Heavens to serve as Planetary Prince?
