I am of origin in the Paradise Trinity. I know the Trinity as unified Deity; I also know that the Father, Son, and Spirit exist and act in their definite personal capacities. I positively know that they not only act personally and collectively, but that they also co-ordinate their performances in various groupings, so that in the end they function in seven different singular and plural capacities. And since these seven associations exhaust the possibilities for such divinity combination, it is inevitable that the realities of the universe shall appear in seven variations of values, meanings, and personality.
Quote from The URANTIA Book, 0110:06
The above statement by a Universal Censor helps explain why there are seven superuniverses of time and space. The number seven exhausts the possibilities of association of the Father, Son, and Spirit. These would be: (1) Father, (2) Son, (3) Spirit, (4) Father and Son, (5) Father and Spirit, (6) Son and Spirit, and (7) Father, Son, and Spirit. Our superuniverse of Orvonton is the seventh of the seven superuniverses and our presiding Master Spirit “is a uniquely equal portrayal of the Universal Father, the Eternal Son, and the Infinite Spirit” (0188:02).
As we contemplate what we believe is a New Dispensation of God the Supreme, it seems appropriate that this be seen first in our superuniverse, the seventh of seven, which is uniquely reflective of the three Deities of the Paradise Trinity.
The three co-ordinate Trinity-origin beings we have been considering, the Divine Counselors, the Perfectors of Wisdom, and the Universal Censors, were created in perfection, each order specialized for a different divine purpose. The Divine Counselors personify, and are in fact, the counsel of the Trinity to the realms of the seven superuniverses; the Perfectors of Wisdom personify, and are in fact, the wisdom of the Trinity to the superuniverses; the Universal Censors personify, and are in fact, the judgment of the Trinity to the superuniverses.
These three orders of being are co-ordinate, associative, and equal; but the fact that the Universal Censors are the “I am” in this trio (0218:02, quoted in Part 50), the fact that they personify, in their being, the judgment of the Trinity as unified Deity, imparts to them the flavor of finality. We can imagine the Divine Counselors discussing their counsel, and the Perfectors of Wisdom discussing their wisdom, but once a Universal Censor has made his decision, there is nothing further to add.
This is a Divine Counselor describing the experience of working with a Universal Censor: “The Censors are universe totaling personalities. When a thousand witnesses have given testimony—or a million—when the voice of wisdom has spoken and the counsel of divinity has recorded, when the testimony of ascendant perfection has been added, then the Censor functions, and there is immediately revealed an unerring and divine totaling of all that has transpired; and such a disclosure represents the divine conclusion, the sum and substance of a final and perfect decision. Therefore, when a Censor has spoken, no one else may speak, for the Censor has depicted the true and unmistakable total of all that has gone before. When he speaks, there is no appeal” (0218:03).
Which leaves me nothing further to add.
